Our Beliefs
Below is a brief summary of the beliefs of our church. Every member states their faith in these fundamental teachings of the Bible before joining. If you would like to study any of these subjects in more detail, please let us know. We would be happy to share more.
| 1. | We believe the Bible is God's inspired Word, and our only rule of faith and practice. |
| 2. | We believe in God the Father, His Son Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Spirit. |
| 3. | We accept the death of Jesus Christ as a sacrifice for our sins. |
| 4. | We claim Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior, and recognize our need for a new heart. |
| 5. | We understand that Jesus Christ is our high priest in the temple in heaven, and that his intercessory work gives us power to do His will. |
| 6. | We purpose, through faith in Christ, to keep the ten commandments, including the fourth, which calls for observing the seventh day of the week as the Sabbath. |
| 7. | The soon return of Jesus Christ is our blessed hope, and we are committed to helping others prepare for this glorious event. |
| 8. | We are committed to supporting our local church through regular tithes and offerings. We join through baptism by immersion. |
| 9. | We believe our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and that we should care for it by abstaining from unclean foods, alcohol, tobacco, and illegal drugs. |
| 10. | We believe the Seventh-day Adventist church has been called to proclaim an end-time message to the world, and we welcome individuals of all backgrounds to join this movement. |
